To choose the right F1 race suit size, measure your chest, waist, hips and height with a cloth tape, then match them to the EURO size chart below. For example, EURO 52 (Medium) fits a chest of 102–106 cm and a height of 170–174 cm. If you fall between two sizes, choose the larger one.
Ordering a race suit online is easy to get wrong because race suit sizing is not the same as T-shirt sizing. This guide shows exactly what to measure, gives you the full size chart used on our product pages, and lists the mistakes that cause most wrong-size orders. What You Need Before You Measure
You need a cloth measuring tape and light clothing such as a T-shirt and shorts. Our product pages say to keep the tape tight to the skin and not to add anything to the numbers, because extra centimetres push you into a size that is too big. Stand straight, relax your shoulders and breathe normally.
The 4 Measurements That Decide Your Size
1. Chest
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, under the armpits and across the shoulder blades. Keep it level. This is the most important number.
2. Waist
Measure around your natural waistline, roughly at belly button height, without pulling the tape tight or sucking in.
3. Hips
Measure around the widest part of your hips and seat. The suit has to pass over your hips when you step in.
4. Height
Stand against a wall without shoes and mark the top of your head. Height decides whether the body length and sleeves sit correctly.

Check your measurements against each row, then use the size dropdown on the product page. For example, the 2026 Red Bull Max Verstappen F1 race suit and the Lewis Hamilton Ferrari 2026 racing suit both offer sizes from kids to EURO 60 and above.
Kids F1 Race Suit Sizes
Kids suits are chosen by height. 140 CM (EURO 36) fits heights of about 137–143 cm, and 158 CM (EURO 40) fits about 144–152 cm. Product pages also offer smaller kids options such as 110, 120 and 130 CM. If your child is between sizes, pick the larger one, since children grow quickly. See the F1 racing and karting suit and the full F1 racing category.
What to Do If You Are Between Sizes
Go up one size. A slightly roomy suit is easy to wear, while a suit that is too tight restricts your shoulders, hips and crotch. Look at height too: if your chest matches one row and your height matches another, check which one matters more for the fit you want.
4 Common Sizing Mistakes
- Measuring over thick clothing. This inflates every number. Measure in light clothes.
- Ordering your jeans or T-shirt size. Race suit sizing is separate. Use your tape measure and the chart.
- Ignoring height. The chest may fit while the sleeves and legs are too short or too long.
- Adding extra to your numbers. The product page says not to add anything to your measurements, because the suit is made to the dimensions you choose.
Customisation Options on the Product Page
Many suits let you add a driver name, country flag, driver number and logo before checkout. Choose your size first, then fill in these fields so the suit arrives as you want it.
How to Read the Size Chart: 3 Worked Examples
Reading a chart is easier with real numbers. Here are three typical buyers and how they should choose.
Example 1: Chest 104 cm, height 172 cm
Chest 104 cm sits inside the Medium (EURO 52) range of 102–106 cm, and 172 cm height fits the 170–174 cm range. Both numbers agree, so EURO 52 is the right size.
Example 2: Chest 108 cm, height 176 cm
A chest of 108 cm falls in EURO 54 (106–110 cm), and a height of 176 cm fits both EURO 54 (172–181 cm) and EURO 56 (175–183 cm). EURO 54 matches both numbers. Move up to EURO 56 only if you plan to wear layers.
Example 3: Chest 100 cm, height 168 cm
Chest 100 cm sits in EURO 50 (95–102 cm) and height 168 cm in the same row (165–171 cm). EURO 50 (Small) is your size, but if your waist or hips measure higher than the chart row, go up one size.
Which Size for Which Use?
| How you will wear it | Suggested choice |
|---|---|
| Halloween or costume party, light clothes underneath | Your measured size |
| Cold weather, hoodie or layers underneath | One size up |
| Fan day, photos and display | Your measured size, or one up for a relaxed look |
| Child who is still growing | The larger of the two nearest height sizes |

Frequently Asked Questions
Are F1 replica race suits true to size?
Use the store’s EURO size chart: it lists chest, waist, hip and height ranges for every size from EURO 36 to EURO 66. Measure yourself against those ranges rather than guessing from your T-shirt size.
What size is EURO 52 in an F1 race suit?
EURO 52 is Medium: chest 102–106 cm, waist 87 cm, hip 101–104 cm and height 170–174 cm.
Should I size up if I will wear clothes underneath?
If you plan to wear thick layers, move up one size. For a light T-shirt, your measured size is right. If your numbers fall between two sizes, choose the larger one.
What size F1 suit does a 10-year-old need?
Kids sizes follow height. 140 CM (EURO 36) fits heights of about 137–143 cm and 158 CM (EURO 40) fits about 144–152 cm. Smaller kids options such as 110, 120 and 130 CM are also offered on product pages.
What if the size I ordered is wrong?
The product page advises measuring with a cloth tape kept tight to the skin without adding anything to the numbers, and notes the suit is made to the dimensions you choose. Contact the store with any question before you order.
